Abstract
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Masker Buah Kesemek Terhadap Kehalusan Kulit Wajah. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 5 orang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling (syarat tertentu) yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok (kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol). Eksperimen dilakukan dengan melakukan tes awal yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi awal kehalusan kulit wajah sebelum diberikan perlakuan. Sampel diberikan perlakuan berupa pemberian Masker Buah Kesemek untuk kelompok eksperimen atau pemberian Masker Buah Bengkuang untuk kelompok kontrol setiap 2 kali dalam seminggu hingga 8 kali perlakuan. Pengukuran kehalusan kulit wajah dilakukan sekali pada sebelum perlakuan dan setiap selesai perlakuan dilakukan. Keadaan kehalusan kulit wajah sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan diukur dengan menggunakan skin analyzer pada setiap aspek bagian wajah; dahi, pipi kanan, pipi kiri, hidung dan dagu. Hasil kehalusan kulit wajah ditampilkan dalam bentuk presentase kemudian dibandingkan dengan nilai kriteria penilaian. Hasil uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji T didapat hasil uji hipotesis (Ho) yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,94 > 1,86 , maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan dk= 8. Sehingga hasil kehalusan kulit wajah pada kulit normal cenderung kasar dengan perawatan wajah yang menggunakan masker buah kesemek lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan masker buah bengkuang. Kata Kunci : Masker Buah Kesemek, dan Kehalusan Kulit Wajah This study uses a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental) which aims to determine the effect of the use of persimmon fruit masks on facial skin smoothness. The sample used was 5 people taken using purposive sampling technique (certain conditions) which were divided into two groups (experimental group and control group). Experiments were carried out by conducting an initial test which aims to determine the initial condition of facial skin smoothness before being given treatment. The sample was given treatment in the form of giving a Persimmon Fruit Mask to the experimental group or giving Jicama Fruit Mask to the control group every 2 times a week for up to 8 treatments. Measurement of facial skin smoothness was carried out once before treatment and after each treatment. The condition of facial skin smoothness before and after treatment was measured using a skin analyzer on every aspect of the face; forehead, right cheek, left cheek, nose and chin. The results of facial skin smoothness are displayed in the form of a percentage and then compared with the value of the assessment criteria. The results of hypothesis testing were carried out using the T test, the results of the hypothesis test (Ho) were carried out using the t test, it was obtained that tcount > ttable, namely 2.94 > 1.86, then Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted at a significance level of 0.05 and dk = 8 So that the results of facial skin smoothness on normal skin tend to be rough with facial treatments using a persimmon fruit mask higher than those using a jicama fruit mask.
