Abstract

Permasalahan perihal lingkungan merupakan masalah yang sangat penting dimana keadaan lingkungan terlihat menurun dari tahun ke tahun. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan menanamkan perilaku pro-environmental behavior dengan membentuk sikap peduli terhadap lingkungan pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh student’s attitude toward environment dan intention to act terhadap pro-environmental behavior peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei melalui studi kausal dan dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 79 siswa di SMAN 50 Jakarta pada semester ganjil 2021/2022. Hasil perhitungan koefisien reliabilitas instrumen pro-environmental behavior adalah 0.918, student’s attitude toward environment adalah 0.970 , dan intention to act adalah 0.957 yang menandakan bahwa ketiga instrumen tersebut dapat dipercaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa student’s attitude toward environment berpengaruh langsung terhadap pro-environmental behavior secara signifikan, student’s attitude toward environment berpengaruh langsung terhadap intention to act secara signifikan, intention to act berpengaruh langsung terhadap pro-environmental behavior secara signifikan, serta student’s attitude toward environment berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap pro-environmental behavior melalui intention to act terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, dalam upaya meningkatkan pro-environmental behavior peserta didik, faktor student’s attitude toward environment dan intention to act juga perlu dipertimbangkan. Environmental issues are a very important where the environment condition decreases from year to year. One of the efforts that can be made with pro-environmental behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of student’s attitude toward environment and intention to act on pro-environmental behavior. The method used is a survey method through causal studies and analyzed by path analysis. The sample of this study was 79 students in SMAN 50 Jakarta in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year. The calculation result of the instrument reliability coefficient is pro-environmental behavior 0.918, student’s attitude toward environment 0.970, and intention to act 0.957 which indicates that the three instruments can be trusted. The results showed that student’s attitude toward environment has a direct effect on pro-environmental behavior significantly, student’s attitude toward environment has a direct effect on intention to act significantly, intention to act has a direct effect on pro-environmental behavior significantly, and intention to act results are obtained as a mediator variable between student’s attitude toward environment and wise pro-environmental behavior. Therefore, in an effort to improve pro-environmental behavior, student’s attitude toward environment and intention to act factors also need to be considered.
