Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala dalam penyusunan pelaporan Sustainability Report pada PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, mengetahui strategi yang direncanakan manajemen untuk mencapai pembangunan keberlanjutan PT Waskita Karya, mengidentifikasi penerapan keuangan keberlanjutan yang sudah dilakukan PT Waskita Karya, mengidentifikasi implementasi lingkungan keberlanjutan yang dilakukan PT Waskita Karya, serta mengetahui kualitas Sustainability Report PT Waskita Karya sejak tahun perdana pelaporan Sustainability Report hingga tahun terakhir pelaporan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk membuktikan hasil penelitian. Penelitian dengan metode kualitatif yang dilakukan peneliti adalah dengan wawancara dengan beberapa informan yaitu dari pihak manajemen PT Waskita Karya, dokumentasi, serta analisis konten atas Sustainability Report PT Waskita Karya. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Kendala yang dialami PT Waskita Karya atas pelaporan dan penerapan laporan keberlanjutan adalah persaingan pasar dengan kompetitor terlebih akibat dari pandemi covid-19 untuk sisi ekonomi, kendala sisi lingkungan yaitu atas perizinan kepada masyarakat sekitar, pengelolaan air dan limbah, serta kemungkinan dampak negatif lingkungan, kendala sisi sosial adalah minimnya pelaporan tepat waktu yang berasal dari kurangnya pemahaman karyawan akan pemahaman teknologi, sehingga masih dibutuhkan pelatihan bagi karyawan. (2) Upaya dalam mengatasi kendala yang kerap dialami, PT Waskita Karya mengadakan rapat mingguan dan bulanan yang akan mengevaluasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi. (3) Hasil implementasi keberlanjutan, PT Waskita Karya telah melakukan penerapan keuangan berkelanjutan dengan sustainable finance dan green accounting. (4) Implementasi bidang sosial dan lingkungan PT Waskita Karya menerapkan implementasi kebijakan K3L (Kesehatan, Keselamatan, Kerja, dan Lingkungan Hidup). (5) Kualitas Sustainability Report, cenderung mengalami penurunan dan peningkatan kualitas. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa dinamika perkembangan Sustainability Report PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk masih mengalami kendala, namun manajemen dan PT Waskita Karya telah merancang strategi-strategi yang dilakukan PT Waskita Karya yang terwujud dalam implementasi keberlanjutan. Kata Kunci: Sustainability Report, Kendala Penerapan Sustainability Report, Sustainable Finance, Implementasi Keberlanjutan, Kualitas Sustainability Report This study aims to determine the constraints in preparing the Sustainability Report at PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, to know the strategies planned by management to achieve corporate sustainability development, to identify the implementation of sustainability finance that has been carried out by the company, to identify the implementation of environmental sustainability by the company, and to find out the quality of the company's Sustainability Report since the first year of the Sustainability Report reporting until the last year of reporting. This study uses primary and secondary data using qualitative methods to prove the results of the study. Research with qualitative methods conducted by researchers is by interviewing several informants, namely from the company's management, documentation, and content analysis of the company's Sustainability Report. The results obtained from this study include the following: (1) The obstacles experienced by companies in reporting and implementing sustainability reports are market competition with competitors, especially as a result of the covid-19 pandemic for the economic side, environmental side constraints, namely licensing to the surrounding community, water and waste management, as well as possible negative environmental impacts, the social side constraint is the lack of timely reporting that stems from the employee's lack of understanding of technology, so training for employees is still needed. (2) Overcome the obstacles that are often experienced, the company holds weekly and monthly meetings which will evaluate the obstacles encountered. (3) Sustainability implementation results, the company has implemented sustainable finance and green accounting. (4) The implementation of the social and environmental fields, the company implements the implementation of K3L (Security, Safety, Health and Environment) policies. (5) The results on the quality of the Sustainability Report, it tends to experience a decrease and increase in quality of it. Therefore, the dynamics of sustainability report implementation at PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, there are some constraints but the company (including the managers) conducted the strategies for it and it showed in sustainable implemention.
