Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang kegiatan penerapan video conference pada mahasiswa aktif program studi S1 Teknologi Pendidikan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Perancangan penelitian ini diadaptasi dari teori strategi pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Arief Sadiman, yang terdiri atas persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan bantuan Google Forms yang terdiri dari 31 butir pernyataan. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan responden sebanyak 51 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa deskripsi yang diawali pada tahap persiapan yang terjadi lewat dengan pemilihan aplikasi video conference, menjadwalkan pelaksanaannya, menampilkan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), memberikan bahan atau materi, dan mengecek kualitas video dan audio. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan yang terjadi lewat pendokumentasian kegiatan, pemberian petunjuk kegiatan pembelajaran, penggunaan fitur pada aplikasi, dan menghindari gangguan-gangguan yang ada. Terakhir pada tahap tindak lanjut dilakukan dengan diadakannya diskusi, pemberian tugas atau kuis, dan feedback pasca kegiatan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menjadi masukan bagi pihak yang terkait dalam menerapkan kegiatan penerapan video conference. This study is aimed to describe the activities of implementing video conferencing on active students of the bachelor program of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, State University of Jakarta. The design of this research was adapted from Arief Sadiman's theory of learning media utilization strategies, which consisted of preparation, implementation, and follow-up. This research is a descriptive research and the data collection technique is through the distribution of questionnaires with the help of Google Forms which consists of 31 statements. The sample technique used is purposive sampling technique with 51 respondents. The results of this study are in the form of a description that begins at the preparation stage which occurs through selecting a video conference application, scheduling its implementation, displaying the Semester Learning Plan (RPS), providing materials or materials, and checking the quality of video and audio. Then proceed with the implementation phase that occurs through documenting activities, providing instructions for learning activities, using features in the application, and avoiding existing disturbances. Finally, the follow-up stage is carried out by holding discussions, giving assignments or quizzes, and post-activity feedback. The implications of this research are input for the parties involved in implementing the implementation of video conferencing activities.
