Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara menyeluruh tentang fenomena dramaturgi pada kehidupan sosial dari penggemar J-Pop di kalangan mahasiswa. Faktor yang memengaruhi penggemar yang merupakan anggota Jakarta Japan Lunatic Club yang melakukan dramaturgi pada kehidupan sosial serta interaksi sosial dan perilaku sosial dari penggemar J-Pop saat di kampus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, catatan lapangan dan studi kepustakaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Jumlah informan ada delapan orang, dua orang informan kunci dan enam orang informan inti. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Jakarta Timur. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa fenomena dramaturgi pada kehidupan sosial dari penggemar J-Pop di kalangan mahasiswa karena adanya faktor internal diantaranya dalam interaksi sosial yang terjadi ketidaksepemahaman dengan mahasiswa lain dan dalam perilaku sosial dengan menyesuaikan diri agar tidak terjadi perundungan verbal serta faktor eksternal diantaranya dalam lingkungan kampus yang memiliki keterbatasan untuk mengespresikan kegemaran terhadap J-Pop dan dalam komunitas Jakarta Japan Lunatic Club yang memiliki peran aktif untuk penggemar J-Pop yang melakukan dramaturgi pada kehidupan sosial penggemar J-Pop di kalangan mahasiswa saat di kampus. The study was aimed to completely explain the dramaturgy phenomenon in the social life of J-Pop fans of university students. Factors that influence the social life, social interaction, and social behavior of J-Pop fans on campus who are members of the Jakarta Japan Lunatic Club. The research methods used are qualitative in observation, interview, documentation, field notes, and literature search data collection techniques. The methods used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This survey was conducted at Jakarta State University in East Jakarta. The result of this study has concluded that dramatic phenomena on the social life of the J-pop fans among the students are due to internal factors in social interaction that result in disunderstanding with other students and in social behavior by adjusting to avoid verbal abuse and external factors in the campus environment that have limited access to J-pop's passion and in the Jakarta Japan Lunatic Club who has an active role to the J-pop fans who play the role on the social life of the J-pop fans among the college student.
