Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media vide interaktif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menggosok gigi siswa down syndrome kelas III di SDS Eureka National Plus School Depok. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seorang siswa down syndrome kelas III di SDS Eureka Natinonal Plus School Depok. Penelitian menggunakan Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video interaktif berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menggosok gigi siswa down syndrome. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatkannya nilai akhir pada saat baseline (A1), Intervensi (B), dan baseline (A2). Perolehan skor terus mengalami peningkatan pada tahap menggosok gigi bagian depan secara vertikal yaitu mulai dari skor 66% sampai 100%, hal ini menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan menggosok gigi bagian depan pada siswa down syndrome sebelum dilakukan intervensi dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi sebesar 34%. Pada tahap menggosok bagian permukaan gigi memperoleh skor 66% sampai skor 100%, hal ini menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan menggosok gigi bagian permukaan gigi pada siswa down syndrome sebelum dilakukan intervensi dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi sebesar 34%. Tahap menggosok bagian kunyah gigi memperoleh skor mulai dari 66% sampai 100%, hal ini menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan menggosok gigi bagian kunyah gigi pada siswa down syndrome sebelum dilakukan intervensi dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi sebesar 34%. This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive video media on improving the teeth brushing skills of class III students with Down syndrome at SDS Eureka National Plus School Depok. The subject of this study was a third grade Down syndrome student at SDS Eureka Natinonal Plus School Depok. The study used Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. The data collection of this research used interactive video media. The results of this study showed that the use of interactive video media had an effect on the teeth brushing skills of Down syndrome students. This can be seen from the increase in the final score at baseline (A1), intervention (B), and baseline (A2). We can see this from the results of the students' scores starting from the initial activity, intervention, and final activity. The score continues to increase at the stage of brushing the front teeth vertically, starting from a score of 66% to 100%, this shows an increase in the ability to brush the front teeth in Down syndrome students before the intervention and after the intervention by 34%. At the stage of brushing the surface of the teeth, students get a score of 66% to a score of 100%, this shows an increase in the ability to brush the teeth on the surface of the teeth in Down syndrome students before the intervention and after the intervention by 34%. The brushing stage of the chewing part of the teeth obtained scores ranging from 66% to 100%, this shows an increase in the ability to brush the teeth on the chewing part of students with Down syndrome before the intervention and after the intervention by 34%.
