Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan salah satu indikator tercapai atau tidaknya tujuan pembelajaran, agar mendapatkan hasil belajar yang baik harus ada upaya yang dilakukan, salah satunya dengan menggunakan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada masa pandemi covid-19 dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 48 Jakarta pada semester 1 tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Selanjutnya, menggunakan teknik simple random sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin untuk menentukan jumlah minimal sampel yang dipakai sehingga dari total 70 siswa diperoleh 58 sebagai sampel penelitian. Analisis uji prasyarat menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov untuk uji normalitas dan uji Fisher untuk homogenitas. Analisis pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t karena data berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan perbandingan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dan model discovery learning pada taraf signifikasi 0.05 didapatkan nilai ρ-value = 0.31 lebih rendah dari α = 0.05, maka tolak H0 dan terima H1, artinya bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Learning outcomes are one indicator of the achievement or failure of learning objectives. Various efforts are run to achieve the best learning outcomes and one of them is the usage of discovery learning model. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of usage of the discovery learning model on enhancing students' learning results in Biology subjects during the COVID-19 epidemic. This research was conducted at SMAN 48 Jakarta during the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The approach method is quasi-experimental. Furthermore, a simple random sampling technique was used with the Slovin formula to determine the minimum number of samples, so that 58 students were collected as study samples from a total of 70 students. For normality, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was utilized, and for homogeneity, the Fisher's exact test was used. Analysis of hypothesis testing using t test because the data is normally distributed. Based on the calculation results of the comparison between the STAD cooperative learning model and the discovery learning model at a significance level of 0.05, the value of -value = 0.31 is lower than = 0.05, so reject H0 and accept H1, meaning that there is a difference between the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and the average control class learning outcomes.
