Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi dari berbagai sumber penelitian terkait metode role play terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa tunarungu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan model analisis konten, melibatkan 24 artikel. Data penelitian yang digunakan berupa data sekunder bersumber dari penelitian terdahulu, artikel penelitian, dan website yang relevan. Hasil kajian literatur menunjukkan: (1) Efektivitas metode role play terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti pemilihan topik dan dialog yang perlu disesuaikan dengan kondisi siswa, durasi pelaksanaan role play, dan keaktifan siswa dalam pelaksanaan role play; (2) Metode role play dapat efektif bagi siswa tunarungu, dengan memperhatikan beberapa hal dan memodifikasi role play dengan menyesuaikan kondisi siswa. The purpose of this research is to gain information from various related research sources about role play method toward reading comprehension ability of deaf students. This research used study of literature method with content analysis model, involving 24 articles. The research used secondary data from previous research, research articles, and relevant websites. The results of literature studies point out: (1) The effectiveness of the role play method on reading comprehension skills can be influenced by several factors, such as the selection of topics and dialogues that need to be adapted to the student's condition, the duration of the role play implementation, and student activity in the role play implementation; (2) The role play method can be effective for deaf students, by paying attention to several things and modifying the role play by adjusting the student's condition.
