Abstract

---ABSTRAK--- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua terhadap keterikatan siswa dengan kebutuhan dasar psikologis sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 338 responden dengan metode cluster random sampling pada siswa SMA dan SMK di DKI Jakarta. Alat ukur yang digunakan merupakan adopsi School Engagement Measurement (Fredricks dkk., 2004), The High School and Family Partnership: Surveys for Students (Epstein dan Salinas, 1993), dan Basic Psyhcological Needs Satisfaction and Frustration (Van der Kaap-Deeder dkk., 2020). Hasil penelitian uji jalur dengan metode bootstrapping macro PROCESS Hayes (2012) keterlibatan orang tua dengan keterikatan siswa, dan keterlibatan orang tua terhadap keterikatan siswa melalui kepuasan kebutuhan dasar psikologis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan. Hasil pengaruh langsung keterlibatan orang tua dengan keterikatan siswa pada siswa SMA dan SMK di Jakarta menunjukkan nilai pengaruh yaitu 17,85%. Sementara hasil pengaruh tidak langsung keterlibatan orang tua dengan keterikatan siswa melalui kepuasan kebutuhan dasar psikologis sebagai mediator pada siswa SMA dan SMK di Jakarta menunjukkan terdapat nilai pengaruh yaitu 9,06%. Kata kunci: keterlibatan orang tua, keterikatan siswa, kebutuhan dasar psikologis, siswa SMA dan SMK di Jakarta. ---ABSTRACT--- This study aims to determine the effect of parental involvement on student engagement through basic psychological needs satisfaction as a mediator. This research was conducted on 338 respondents using cluster random sampling on high school and vocational high school students in DKI Jakarta. The measuring instrument used is the adoption of School Engagement Measurement (Fredricks et al., 2004), The High School and Family Partnerships: Surveys for Students (Epstein and Salinas, 1993), and Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Frustration (Van der Kaap-Deeder et al., 2020). The results of path analysis with method bootstrapping macro PROCESS Hayes (2012) of the parental involvement on student engagement and parental involvement on student engagement through basic psychological needs shows significant effect. Results of direct influence of parental involvement on student engagement in high school and vocational students in Jakarta showed a influence value of 17,85%. While the results of the indirect influence of parental involvement on student engagement through basic psychological needs satisfaction as a mediator for high school and vocational students in Jakarta showed that there was an influence value of 9,06%.
