Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis permulaan melalui kegiatan memainkan media busy board bagi anak cerebral palsy tipe spastic di kelas 2 SLBN Taruna Mandiri Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat. Sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 1 orang, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan observasi langsung menggunakan II siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 6 kali pertemuan dimulai dengan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi kemampuan menulis pada tahapan mencoret dan pengulangan linier dalam bentuk soal berupa menghubungkan garis titik-titik serta membuat garis vertikal, horizontal, miring lengkung, gelombang dan zigzag, hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik mendapatkan skor 63 dari 100 dan dari skor minimum 50, dalam penelitian ini peserta didik sangat bersemangat dalam pembelajaran, gerakan tangan yang tadinya kaku setelah diberi tindakan menjadi lebih fleksibel bergerak sesuai arah tulisan sehingga tulisan yang dihasilkan sudah sesuai instruksi soal yang diberikan. Ini membuktikan bahwa kegiatan memainkan busy board yang dilaksanakan dalam penelitian ini, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan. The focus of this research is to observe if busy board media can help students with spastic cerebral palsy in grade 2 at SLBN Taruna Mandiri in Kuningan Regency, West Java improve the fundamental writing abilities.In this research, there was only one participant.In this research use the classroom action research method, combined with direct observation used II cycle, with each cycle consisting of six sessions beginning with preparation, action, observation, and reflection.the research carried out includes to scribble stage and linear repetitive stage in question such as linking dotted lines and forming vertical, horizontal, curved, wave, and zigzag lines, can be demonstrated. Students in this research achieved a 63 out of 100 score, with a minimum of 50. Students in this research were extremely enthusiastic about learning, and inflexible hand movements became more flexible in moving in accordance with the direction of writing, resulting in writing that was consistent with the directions given.This suggests that the busy board exercise utilized in this study can assist children in improving their fundamental writing skills. skills Keywords: Writing Skill, Busy board
