Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar matematika dengan literasi numerasi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Utan Kayu Selatan Kecamatan Matraman Jakarta Timur. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Utan Kayu Selatan Kecamatan Matraman Jakarta Timur sebanyak 87 siswa. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif korelasi menggunakan instrumen angket motivasi belajar matematika sebanyak 33 butir pernyataan dan tes literasi numerasi sebanyak 20 butir pertanyaan. Instrumen tersebut disebar kepada subjek penelitian dengan bantuan Google Formulir. Kemudian data tersebut dimasukkan dan dihitung menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Setelah itu, data yang diperoleh diuji normalitasnya menggunakan Uji Liliefors dan homogenitas dengan uji Barlett memperoleh hasil data berdistribusi normal dan data bersifat homogen. Selain itu, persamaan regresi yang diperoleh yaitu Ŷ = 0,0858 + 0,0798X. Selanjutnya pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan koefisien korelasi Product Moment dan uji signifikansi dengan Uji-t. Hasil perhitungan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,217 maka menunjukkan arah hubungan positif. Uji signifikansi menggunakan Uji-t memperoleh hasil thitung yaitu 2,045 dengan ttabel yaitu 1,988 maka thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Hal tersebut memiliki arti bahwa koefisien korelasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa motivasi belajar matematika dengan literasi numerasi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Utan Kayu Selatan Kecamatan Matraman Jakarta Timur memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Semakin tinggi motivasi belajar matematika maka akan semakin tinggi pula literasi numerasi. Dalam hal ini maka motivasi belajar matematika dapat menunjang literasi numerasi sehingga pembelajaran dapat terlaksana secara optimal. This study aims to determine the relationship between mathematics learning motivation and numeracy literacy of fifth grade students at the Utan Kayu Selatan State Elementary School, Matraman District, East Jakarta. The subjects used in this study were 87 students in grade V of the Utan Kayu Selatan State Elementary School Kecamatan Matraman, East Jakarta. The method in this study is quantitative correlation using a mathematics learning motivation questionnaire as many as 33 statements and a numeracy literacy test with 20 questions. The instrument was distributed to research subjects with the help of Google Forms. Then the data is entered and calculated using Microsoft Excel. After that, the data obtained were tested for normality using the Liliefors and homogeneity with Barlett to obtained information that the data being normally distributed and homogeneous. In addition, the regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 0.0858 + 0.0798X. Furthermore, the data were processed and analyzed using the Product Moment correlation and the significance test with the t-test. The results of the calculation of hypothesis testing obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.217 which indicates the direction of a positive correlation. The significance test using the t-test obtained the results of tcount that is 2.045 with ttable that is 1.988 then tcount is greater than ttable. This means that the correlation coefficient has a significant relationship. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the motivation to learn mathematics with numeracy literacy of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Utan Kayu Selatan Kecamatan Matraman, East Jakarta, has a positive and significant correlation. The higher the motivation to learn mathematics, the higher the numeracy literacy. In this case, the motivation to learn mathematics can support numeracy literacy so that learning can be carried out optimally.
