Abstract

---ABSTRACT--- This research presents literature on the effect of attachment style on emotional abuse behavior in adolescents dating relationship. The method used in this research is quantitative with non-probability sampling. Emotional abuse is non-physical violent behavior to control a partner by insulting, blaming, threatening, isolating, and verbal aggression to injure the partner mentally. While attachment style is a strong emotional bond between a person and a certain figure. There are 4 dimensions of attachment style, namely secure attachment, fearful-avoidant attachment, preoccupied attachment, and dismissive attachment style. In this research, measuring emotional abuse from the perspective of the perpetrator and attachment style with peers. The results of this study indicate that attachment style has an effect of 24% on emotional abuse behavior in adolescents dating relationship. ---ABSTRAK--- Penelitian ini menyajikan literatur mengenai pengaruh attachment style terhadap perilaku emotional abuse pada remaja yang berpacaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data non-probability sampling. Emotional abuse merupakan perilaku kekerasan non-fisik untuk mengendalikan pasangan dengan cara menghina, menyalahkan, mengancam, mengisolasi, dan agresi verbal sehingga melukai psikologis pasangan. Sedangkan attachment style adalah ikatan emosional yang kuat antara seseorang dengan figure tertentu. Terdapat 4 dimensi attachment style yaitu secure attachment, fearful-avoidant attachment, preoccupied attachment, dan dissmisive attachment style. Dalam penelitian ini mengukur emotional abuse dari sisi pelaku dan attachment style dengan teman sebaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa attachment style berpengaruh sebesar 24% terhadap perilaku emotional abuse pada remaja yang berpacaran.
