Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan kompetensi profesional, pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dan pengembangan kompetensi sosial guru di SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April 2021 hingga Desember 2021 dan merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penentuan subjek penelitian ini menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 7 (tujuh) orang yaitu wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, 2 (dua) orang guru sebagai peserta In House Training, seorang guru sebagai anggota Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), seorang guru sebagai pengurus MGMP, seorang guru sebagai wali kelas dan seorang guru sebagai pembina ekstrakurikuler. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi guru di SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi meliputi: 1) Pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru meliputi In House Training dan webinar, 2) Pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) di sekolah dan se-Kota Bekasi, dan 3) Pengembangan kompetensi sosial guru meliputi, guru sebagai wali kelas, guru sebagai pembina ekstrakurikuler, diskusi dengan teman sejawat, pertemuan dengan orang tua, dan kegiatan sosial dengan masyarakat. -------- This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi, which aims to determine the development of teacher’s professional competence, development of teacher’s pedagogic competence, and development of teacher’s social competence at SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi. This research was conducted from April 2021 to December 2021 and used a qualitative descriptive approach. Research subject was determined with snowball sampling technique. The total research subject are 7 (seven) persons, including the vice principal of the curriculum, 2 (two) teachers as participants in In House Training, a teacher as member of the Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP), a teacher as MGMP administrator, a teacher as homeroom teacher and a teacher as extracurricular builder. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation study. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the development of teacher’s competence at SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi includes: 1) Development of teacher’s professional competencies including In House Training and webinar, 2) Development of teacher’s pedagogic competencies, including Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) in school and throughout Bekasi City, and 3) Development of teacher's social competencies, including the teacher’s duty as homeroom teacher and extracurricular builder, discussions with colleagues, meetings with parents, and Blessing Friday social activities.
