Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan deskripsi secara menyeluruh pengalaman sebuah tim Human Development dalam melaksanakan program pengelolaan talenta untuk Generasi Z di rentang usia 15 – 20 tahun. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologi yang telah selesai dilaksanakan di Kota Bogor Jawa Barat pada tahun 2021. Data-data penelitian ini berasal dari informan penelitian melalui proses wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi secara langsung di lapangan selama lima tahun pada Generasi Z dari Agustus 2015 sampai Juli 2020. Data dianalisis menggunakan Software ATLAS.ti versi 8. Dari analisis dan interpretasi data diperoleh temuan penelitian berupa gambaran atau pola pengelolaan talenta Generasi Z yang terdiri dari tiga tema yaitu (1) Keutamaan pengelolaan talenta Generasi Z yang terlihat dalam sub tema: (a) untuk menyiapkan generasi unggul menyambut bonus demografi, (b) untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Generasi Z, (c) latar belakang pengelolaan talenta; (2) Proses pengelolaan talenta Generasi Z yang tergambar menjadi tiga sub tema: (a) Perencanaan: Program Stimulation, (b) Pelaksanaan: Program Assessment, (c) Pengorganisasian dan Evaluasi: Program Development; (3) Hasil Pengelolaan talenta Generasi Z tergambar menjadi dua sub tema: (a) Output, (b) Outcome. Dari hasil temuan penelitian tersebut, novelty penelitian ini berupa pola pengelolaan talenta Generasi Z yang direkomendasikan untuk pembinaan Generasi Z sudah seharusnya menitikberatkan pada proses pengelolaan talenta yang menyeluruh dari aspek TASK: Talent, Attitude, Skill dan Knowledge melalui program yang terstruktur disesuaikan dengan karakteristik Generasi Z. Supaya menghasilkan Generasi Z yang produktif sejak usia belia, pengelolaan talenta Generasi Z perlu dukungan dari pemerintah berupa implementasi kurikulum pengelolaan talenta di dunia pendidikan baik pendidikan formal maupun non formal. Kata kunci: Pola pengelolaan talenta, Generasi Z, Program Stimulation, Program Assessment, Program Development ---------------------------------------- ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive description of the experience of a Human Development team in implementing talent management programs for Generation Z in the age range of 15 – 20 years. This study is a qualitative research using the phenomenological method which has been completed in Bogor City, West Java in 2021. The data of this research came from research informants through the process of interviews, documentation study and direct observation in the field for five years in Generation Z from August 2015 to July 2020. Data were analyzed using ATLAS.ti software version 8. From the analysis and interpretation of the data, the research results are in the form of a description or pattern of Generation Z talent management which consists of three themes, namely (1) The priority of Generation Z talent management which is seen in the sub themes: (a) to prepare a superior generation to welcome the demographic bonus, (b) to meet the needs of Generation Z, (c) talent management background; (2) Generation Z talent management process which is described into three sub themes: (a) Planning: Stimulation Program, (b) Actuating: Assessment Program, (c) Organizing and Evaluating: Development Program; (3) The results of Generation Z talent management are described in two sub-themes: (a) Output, (b) Outcome. From the research findings, the novelty of this research is the form of the Generation Z talent management pattern, it is recommended that Generation Z development should focus on a comprehensive talent management process from the TASK aspect: Talent, Attitude, Skill and Knowledge through structured programs tailored to the characteristics of Generation Z. In order to produce Generation Z productive since a young age, the management of Generation Z talent needs support from the government in the form of implementing a talent development curriculum in the world of education, both formal and non-formal education.
