Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya hubungan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dengan kepuasan kerja guru di SMA Negeri Kecamatan Matraman Jakarta Timur. Variabel yang diteliti adalah supervisi akademik kepala sekolah sebagai variabel bebas (variabel X) dan kepuasan kerja guru sebagai variabel terikat (variabel Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan survei. Pengumpulan data untuk variabel supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru menggunakan kuesioner yang dirancang dalam bentuk butir pernyataan dengan penilaian skala likert, kemudian di distribusikan melalui google formular dengan melibatkan 52 sampel guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Matraman Jakarta Timur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah korelasi product moment dari Pearson, dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji signifikansi regresi, dan uji linieritas. Dari hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi korelasi sebesar 0,006. Dimana hasil tersebut lebih kecil daripada 0,05. Sedangkan nilai korelasi (rxy) kedua variabel sebesar 0,666. Dari koefisien determinasi, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44,4% terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara supervisi akademik dengan kepuasan kerja guru di SMA Negeri Kecamatan Matraman, Jakarta Timur. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa supervisi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kinerja guru. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between the principal's academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction at SMA Negeri Matraman District, East Jakarta. The variables studied were the principal's academic supervision as the independent variable (variable X) and teacher job satisfaction as the dependent variable (variable Y). The research method used is a quantitative and survey approach. Collecting data for the variables of the principal's academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction using a questionnaire designed in the form of statement items with a Likert scale assessment, then distributed via google formular involving 52 samples of public high school teachers in Matraman District, East Jakarta. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is Pearson's product moment, by first conducting a prerequisite test which includes normality test, regression significance test, and linearity test. From the results of hypothesis testing, the correlation significance value is 0.006. Where the result is smaller than 0.05. While the correlation value (rxy) of the two variables is 0.666. From the coefficient of determination, the principal's academic supervision contributed 44.4% to teacher job satisfaction. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction at SMA Negeri Matraman District, East Jakarta. Based on these conclusions, it can be said that the supervision carried out by the principal can increase teacher performance satisfaction.
