Abstract

Keterampilan membaca (maharatul qira’ah) merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan menjadi dasar pada proses pembelajaran. Pengertian keterampilan membaca yaitu suatu kemampuan dalam memahami makna baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Pada proses pembelajaran keterampilan membaca, terdapat beberapa kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh pembelajar salah satunya yaitu memahami isi dari teks yang dibaca. Mind map merupakan salah satu metode yang berfungsi untuk meringkas pembelajaran dengan efektif dan kreatif. Mind map menjadi solusi yang dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran keterampilan membaca (maharatul qira’ah) agar lebih mudah memahami isi dari teks yang dibaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi android yang di dalamnya terdapat mind map dan dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa pada mata kuliah qira’ah al-basithah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model Borg & Gall 10 tahapan yang telah diringkas menjadi 4 tahapan. Media pembelajaran mind map divalidasi oleh dua uji ahli, yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media. Berdasarkan validasi oleh ahli materi mendapatkan hasil 92,6% dan validasi oleh ahli media mendapatkan hasil mencapai 92,6%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran mind map sangat layak digunakan pada mata kuliah al-qira’ah al-basithah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman isi teks. Kata kunci : keterampilan membaca, mind map, al-qira’ah al-basithah Reading is one of the four skills in learning Arabic and becomes the basis of the learning process. The concept of reading skill is the ability to understand the meaning orally and in writing. In the process of learning the skill of reading, there are many difficulties that students face, one of which is understanding the content of the reading text. A mind map is a working method for effectively and creatively summarizing learning. The mind map is the user's solution in learning the skill of reading to facilitate the understanding of the content of the readable text. This research aims to develop the educational aid on an Android program that consists of the mind map used for students in the simple reading material. This research uses the research and development method on the Borg and Gall model of 10 stages that are summarized into 4 stages. This learning tool mind map is created by experts i.e. material experts and method experts. According to the subject expert, this teaching aid obtained a result of 92.6%, and according to the subject expert, this subject obtained a result of 92.6%. It can be concluded that the teaching aid is very suitable to be used in simple reading material to improve the understanding of the text content.
