Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahahuan Alam (IPA) melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif bentuk Group investigation (GI) pada siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Bungur 03. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 32 siswa dengan 16 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan tahapan penelitian yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak II siklus dimana tiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dengan alokasi waktu tiap pertemuan 2 x 35 menit. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatkan motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif bentuk Group investigation (GI). Motivasi belajar IPA pada siklus I mencapai 78,13% dan pada siklus II meningkat 15,63% menjadi 93,75% yaitu 30 dari 32 siswa masuk ke kategori motivasi belajar IPA sangat tinggi dan tinggi atau mendapat skor ≥70. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dapat meningkat melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif bentuk Group investigation (GI). This classroom action research was conducted to improve the learning motivation of Natural Science (IPA) through cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type in fourth grade students of elementary school. This classroom action research was conducted in Bungur 03 State Elementary School Central Jakarta. The research subjects are 32 students of fourth grade, consist 16 male students and 16 female students. The classroom action research model used in this research is Kemmis and Mc.Taggart with the stages of research are planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in observation, questionnaires, documentation, and field notes. This research was conducted in 2 cycles where each cycle consisted of 2 meetings with time allocation per meeting 2x35 minutes. The result of this research is to increase the learning motivation in science learning through cooperative learning model of Teams Games Tournament type. Science learning motivation in the first cycle reached 78.13% and in the second cycle increased 15.63% to 93.75% i.e 30 out of 32 students into the category of learning motivation IPA very high and high or get a score of ≥70. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning motivation of Natural Sciences can be increased through cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI).
