Abstract

ABSTRAK Shania Maulia Puspasari. 2022. Kendala Teknis Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Dalam Jaringan pada Mata Kuliah Berbicara Bahasa Mandarin. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) merupakan pembelajaran yang peserta didiknya terpisah dari pendidik dengan memanfaatkan berbagai sumber belajar/media dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Meskipun PJJ dianggap sebagai solusi di masa pandemi, namun pada pelaksanaannya, terdapat kendala PJJ yang tidak dapat dihindari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala teknis PJJ dalam jaringan (daring) pada mata kuliah Berbicara Dasar bahasa Mandarin I-IV yang dihadapi serta upaya yang dilakukan mahasiswa PSPBM UNJ untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner. Responden penelitian ini adalah 52 orang mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah Berbicara Dasar I-IV pada semester 113 dan 114. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PSPBM UNJ menghadapi kendala terkait jaringan internet, berupa jaringan mengalami gangguan akibat cuaca buruk, sinyal tidak stabil, dan paket data habis saat PJJ berlangsung. Mengenai hal tersebut, mahasiswa berupaya beralih menggunakan paket data internet atau mengisi paket data internet; terkait ketersediaan perangkat, perangkat yang dimiliki kurang mendukung. Upaya yang dilakukan, yaitu meminjam perangkat orang lain; dan terkait perangkat yang digunakan, berupa perangkat kehilangan daya ketika PJJ berlangsung. Upaya yang dilakukan, yaitu beralih menggunakan perangkat lain. Selain terkait kendala teknis, mahasiswa melakukan upaya untuk mengatasi ketertinggalan materi/pelajaran Berbicara bahasa Mandarin, yaitu dengan menonton live pembelajaran penutur jati melalui TikTok/YouTube untuk melatih kemampuan berbicara. The Technical Obstacles of Online Distance Learning on Chinese Speaking Course. Undergraduate Thesis, Department of Chinese Language Education, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta. Distance Learning is a form of learning which students are separated from the educators by utilizing various study material/media in the process of learning activities. Although Distance Learning is considered as a solution during this pandemic, but in its implementation, there are the obstacles of Distance Learning that can’t be avoided. This study aims to find out the technical obstacles of Online Distance Learning on Chinese Speaking Course, as well as the efforts made by Department of Chinese Language Education students to overcome these obstacles. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected through questionnaire. The respondents of this study were 52 students who took the Basic Speaking Courses I-IV in semesters 113 and 114. The result of this study showed that Department of Chinese Language Education students faced the technical obstacles related to network is an unstable network due to bad weather. In that case, the efforts that have been made by students to overcome this obstacle is switch to internet mobile data or top-up their internet mobile data; related to availability of the device is their own devices is in a bad state or not supported. The efforts that have been made to overcome this obstacle is borrow other people’s devices; and related to the device used by students is devices were running out of battery during Online Distance Learning. Besides the technical obstacles, students made efforts to overcome the lag behind material/lesson on Chinese Language Speaking Course by watching live streaming of native speakers through TikTok/YouTube to practice their speaking skills.
