Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Labschool Kebayoran. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kerja sama tim dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Labschool Kebayoran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang akademik, guru, kepala tata usaha, orang tua siswa, dan murid. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yaitu mengimplementasikan visi dan misi, memiliki sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten, menyelenggarakan rapat kerja tahunan, dan menyelenggarakan program dan kegiatan sekolah. (2) Kerja sama tim dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yaitu melalui Tim Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (TPMPS) sebagai tim internal dan Persatuan Orang Tua Murid dan Guru (POMG) sebagai tim eksternal. This study aims to describe the strategy for improving the quality of education in SMP Labschool Kebayoran. The sub focus of this research is the leadership of the principal and teamwork in improving the quality of education at SMP Labschool Kebayoran. This study uses a descriptive approach and method. Collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Informants in this study included: the principal, the vice principal for academic affairs, the teacher, the head of administration, the student parents, and the student. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Principal leadership in improving the quality of education is implementing the vision and mission, having competent human resources, holding annual work events, and holding school programs and activities. (2) Teamwork in improving the quality of education, namely through the Tim Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (TPMPS) as an internal team and the Persatuan Orang Tua Murid dan Guru (POMG) as an external team.
