Abstract

ABSTRAK Studi ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Sejarah SM3T yang berbasis asrama di Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), pada tahun 2014-2018. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan masukan yang dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis, yang berusaha mengkaji peristiwa-peristiwa masa lampau terkait dengan pelaksanaan PPG pasca SM3T, mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis fakta-fakta tersebut secara mendalam. Adapun langkah-langkah yang diambil dalam penelitian ini mencakup tahapan heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi, sedangkan analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif naratif. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari dokumen pelaksanaan PPG Sejarah yang terdapat di sekretariat PPG UNJ, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan serta wawancara dengan alumni peserta PPG Sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, proses rekrutmen dan implementasi program SM3T di UNJ dilakuan secara terstruktur, yaitu melalui verifikasi dokumen dan tes wawancara. Peserta yang dinyatakan lulus kemudian mengikuti kegiatan prakondisi yang dijadikan pedoman ketika nantinya ditempatkan pada daerah pengapdian. Setelah satu tahun mengapdi, peserta kembali untuk mengikuti program pendidikan profesi guru (PPG) berasrama. Seluruh peserta program PPG wajib tinggal di asrama sejak semester pertama hingga lulus. Seluruh kegiatan di asrama baik akademik maupun nonakademik telah dijadwalkan secara terstruktur sehingga seluruh peserta wajib untuk mengikuti setiap kegiatan. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Profesi Guru, SM-3T, Guru Sejarah, Asrama ************** ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the SM3T History Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program based on dormitories at the Jakarta State University (UNJ), in 2014- 2018. This research is expected to provide input that can be used as a reference in improving the professionalism of teachers in Indonesia. This study uses the historical method, which seeks to examine past events related to the post-SM3T PPG implementation, describe, and analyze these facts in depth. The steps taken in this study include the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography, while the analysis used is descriptive narrative analysis. Sources of data for this study were obtained from the PPG History implementation document contained in the PPG UNJ secretariat, Ministry of Education and Culture as well as interviews with alumni of PPG History participants. The results showed that the recruitment process and the implementation of the SM3T program at UNJ were carried out in a structured manner, namely through document verification and interview tests. Participants who are declared passed then take part in preconditioning activities that are used as guidelines when they are later placed in the service area. After one year of service, the participants returned to take part in the boarding teacher professional education (PPG) program. All PPG program participants are required to live in a dormitory from the first semester until graduation. All activities in the dormitory, both academic and non-academic, have been scheduled in a structured manner so that all participants are required to take part in each activity.
