Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh media dan regulasi diri terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak kelompok A di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain treatmen by leve 2x2. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 140 anak kelompok A. Data skor kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan. Kebaruan penelitian adalah melihat pengaruh media pairing card sebagai media inovasi dan pengembangan dengan media flash card yang telah banyak diuji untuk dijadikan media alternatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak, regulasi diri juga diprediksi merupakan bagian penting dari proses pengembangan kemampuan konsep bilangan anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) media pairing card lebih baik dari pada media flash card dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak kelompok A; (2) anak dengan regulasi diri tinggi lebih mudah dalam mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan; (3) adanya interaksi antara media dengan regulasi diri terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak kelompok A; (4) media pairing card lebih cocok digunakan untuk anak dengan regulasi diri tinggi, (5) media flash card lebih cocok digunakan untuk anak dengan regulasi diri rendah. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan, Media Pairing Card, Media Falsh Card, Regulasi Diri *********** This study aims to examine the influence of media and self-regulation on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in group A children in DKI Jakarta Province. The study used an experimental method with a treatment design by level 2x2. The sample used was 140 children in group A. The data on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers were analyzed and interpreted. The novelty of the research is to see the effect of pairing card media as a medium of innovation and development with flash card media which has been widely tested to be used as an alternative media in increasing the ability to recognize children's number concepts, self-regulation is also predicted to be an important part of the process of developing children's number concept skills. The conclusions of this study are: (1) pairing card media is better than flash card media in increasing the ability to recognize the concept of numbers for group A children; (2) children with high self-regulation are easier to develop the ability to recognize the concept of numbers; (3) the interaction between the media and self-regulation on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in group A; (4) media pairing cards are more suitable for children with high self-regulation, (5) media flash cards are more suitable for children with low self-regulation.
