Abstract

Esa Sulistiani, Implementasi Kompetensi Profesional pada Penempatan Guru Mata Pelajaran Sosiologi ( Studi Kasus di SMAN 1 Pamarayan, Kabupaten Serang). Skripsi. Jakarta. Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial. 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan dari penempatan guru mata pelajaran yang tidak linier dalam proses pembelajaran di SMA Negeri sebagai implementasi dari salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui proses observasi, dokumetasi dan wawancara. Subjek yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 10 informan yang terdiri dari 1 kepala sekolah, 1 wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, 5 guru mata pelajaran, dan 3 orang peserta didk. Konsep yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu konsep kompetensi guru, profesional, dan penempatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pembelajaran guru mata pelajaran sosiologi telah mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas dengan cukup baik. Pengembangan profesi guru sosiologi masih berada pada tataran melakukan kegiatan di Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), seperti penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), dan penyusuanan instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran. Kompetensi profesional guru di SMA Negeri 1 Pamarayan dapat dikatakan sudah cukup untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran dikelas dengan usaha atau upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru agar materi tersampaikan dengan baik kepada peserta didik. Meskipun ada keterbatasan sarana prasarana di sekolah tetapi tidak membuat guru kehilangan kreatifitas dalam metode pembelajaran. Akan tetapi selengkap apapun sarana prasarana yang ada jika tetapi tidak di tunjang dengan guru yang kompeten dalam mengajar tidak akan ada keberhasilan pembelajaran karena kunci dari keberhasilan itu adalah guru sebagai peran penggerak proses pembelajaran. This study aims to describe how the application of non-linear subject teacher placement in the learning process in SMA Negeri as the implementation of one of the competencies that must be possessed by teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Research data obtained through the process of observation, documentation and interviews. The subjects used in this study were 10 informants consisting of 1 principal, 1 vice principal for curriculum, 5 subject teachers, and 3 students. The concepts used to analyze the data are the concepts of teacher, professional, and placement competencies. The results of this study indicate that the learning management of sociology subject teachers has been able to carry out classroom learning quite well. The professional development of sociology teachers is still at the level of carrying out activities at the Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP), such as the preparation of learning tools, syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), and the preparation of learning evaluation instruments. The professional competence of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pamarayan can be said to be sufficient to carry out the learning process in the classroom with the efforts or efforts made by the teacher so that the material is conveyed properly to students. Although there are limited facilities and infrastructure in schools, it does not make teachers lose creativity in learning methods. However, as complete as any existing infrastructure if it is not supported by competent teachers in teaching, there will be no successful learning because the key to success is the teacher as the driving role of the learning process.
