Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan konten pedagogis dengan kinerja guru IPA SMP Negeri di Wilayah Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPA SMP Negeri di Wilayah Jakarta Selatan dengan jumlah populasi 180 guru dengan sampel 51 guru yang diperoleh dari perhitungan rumus slovin dengan taraf signifikansi 10%. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji korelasi product moment, koefisien determinasi dan uji t. hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pengetahuan konten pedagogis (X) dengan kinerja guru (Y), artinya semakin meningkatnya pengetahuan konten pedagogis guru dalam proses belajar mengajar maka akan semakin meningkat kinerja guru. Pengetahuan konten pedagogis yang dapat dilakukan guru diantaranya adalah memahami dan menguasai materi dengan permasalahan kehidupan nyata, mengelola kelas agar terciptanya pembelajaran yang efektif sehingga membentuk kinerja guru yang optimal selama proses pembelajaran.**********This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between pedagogical content knowledge and the performance of science teachers at State Junior High Schools in Region South Jakarta. This research is a type of quantitative research using a correlational approach. Data collection techniques used in this study using a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were science teachers at the State Junior High School in Region I (One) South Jakarta with a total population of 180 teachers with a sample of 51 teachers obtained from the calculation of the Slovin formula with a significance level of 10%. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is done by testing product moment correlation, coefficient of determination and t test. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge of pedagogical content (X) and teacher performance (Y), meaning that the increasing knowledge of teacher pedagogical content in the teaching and learning process will increase teacher performance. Knowledge of pedagogical content that can be done by teachers includes understanding and mastering material with real-life problems, managing classes to create effective learning so as to form optimal teacher performance during the learning process.
