Abstract

Minat adalah kecenderungan hati yang tinggi terhadap suatu hal atau kegiatan. Minat yang ada pada mahasiswa bermacam-macam, mahasiswa yang kurang tertarik dengan kegiatan akademik dapat mencoba untuk mencoba minat non akademik seperti kegiatan olahraga. Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari anak ke remaja, ada yang mengatakan bahwa masa remaja adalah masa pubertas dimana terjadi perubahan fisik yang dialami oleh remaja. Dalam permainan rugby, mereka tidak akan dapat mencapai tujuan pencapaian jika minatnya rendah. Rugby (bahasa Inggris: Rugby) adalah jenis permainan bola beregu yang dimainkan oleh dua tim. Setiap tim berusaha mencetak gol dengan cara menendang, melempar, atau membawa bola sehingga tendangannya dapat melepaskan gawang lawan atau menyentuh di belakang garis lawan. Tim yang mencetak poin terbanyak menang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Jasmani Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2021 pada olahraga Rugby. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani Angkatan 2021 yang berjumlah 146 mahasiswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling yaitu metode pengambilan sampel secara acak berjenjang yang diambil 50% dari total populasi. Sehingga sampel yang digunakan bisa sebanyak 73 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif analisis persentase data menggunakan aplikasi komputer melalui program Microsoft Excel. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat mahasiswa terhadap olahraga rugby tergolong tinggi, dengan pertimbangan frekuensi tertinggi berada pada sangat tinggi sebesar 7%, kategori tinggi sebesar 78%, kategori sedang sebesar 15%, kategori rendah sebesar 0%, kategori sangat rendah sebesar 0 %. Kata Kunci : Minat, Rugby Pendidikan Jasmani ABSTRACT Interest is the tendency of the heart to be high in a thing or activity. Interests in students vary, students who are less interested in academic activities can try to try non-academic interests such as sports activities. Adolescence is a period of transition from child to teenager, some say that adolescence is the time of puberty where there are physical changes experienced by adolescents. In the game of rugby, they will not be able to achieve the goal of achievement if interest is low. Rugby is a type of team ball game played by two teams. Each team attempts to score by kicking, throwing, or carrying the ball so that the kick can release the opponent's goal or touch behind the opponent's line. The team that scored the most points won. This research aims to find out how much interest students of the Physical Education Program of The State University of Jakarta Force 2021 have in the sport of Rugby. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The method used is the survey method. The subjects of this study were all physical education students in the class of 2021 which amounted to 146 students. Samples are taken using the Random Sampling technique, a randomized tiered sampling method taken by 50% of the total population. So that the sample used can be as many as 73 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of percentage analysis of data using computer applications through the Microsoft Excel program. The study showed that student interest in the sport of rugby was high, with the highest frequency consideration being at 7%, high category by 78%, moderate category by 15%, low category by 0%, very low category by 0%.
