Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dan koneksi matematis dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas V di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasional, metode survei dan teknik analisis jalur. Sampel pada penelitian ini ialah peserta didik kelas V SDN Jatiasih 08 Bekasi yang dipilih berdasarkan cluster random sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dalam bentuk tes uraian. Data penelitian telah memenuhi uji prasyarat analisis, yaitu uji normalitas dan uji lineritas. Pengujian koefisien korelasi dan koefisien jalur berdasarkan uji-f, uji-t, dan nilai beta menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis (X1) dan koneksi matematis (X2) memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika (Y), baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa seluruh Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan koneksi matematis secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi atau pengaruh langsung sebesar 81,2% terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan sisanya sebesar 18,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. ********** This study aimed to determine the relationship between the critical thinking skill and mathematical connection skill in mathematical problem-solving skill of elementary school student class V. This study used correlational research with survey method and path analysis. The sample of this research were students of class V in SDN Jatiasih 08 Bekasi which selected by cluster random sampling. This research data were collected in an essay test form. Research data have met the analysis requirement tests, the data normality and linearity test. The coefficient correlation test and path coefficient test based on f-test, t-test, and Beta score show that critical thinking skill and mathematical connection skill have a significant and positive relationship with mathematical problem-solving skill, either partially or simultaneously. Critical thinking skill and mathematical connection skill give contribution or direct effect by 81,2% to mathematical problem-solving skill and the remaining 18,8% are the other variables outside this research.
