Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan model ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul IPS dengan berbasis metode pembelajaran role playing materi perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan instruksional Atwi Suparman. Ada delapan tahap yang dilakukan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini yaitu mengidentifikasi kebutuhan instruksional dan menulis tujuan instruksional umum, melakukan analisis instruksional, mengidentifikasi perilaku dan karakteristik awal peserta didik, menulis tujuan instruksional khusus, menyusun alat penilaian hasil belajar, menyusun strategi instruksonal, mengembangkan bahan instruksional, serta menyusun desain dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif. Responden dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini diantaranya satu dosen ahli materi, satu dosen ahli bahasa, satu dosen ahli media, dua guru kelas V sekolah dasar, dan 41 peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini menujukan bahwa modul IPS berbasis metode pembelajaran role playing materi perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia kelas V sekolah dasar memperoleh hasil sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata menurut ahli sebesar 88.59%, tahap evaluasi kelompok kecil sebesar 98%, dan tahap uji coba lapangan sebesar 92%. Modul ini memberikan hasil tes akhir dengan peningkatan sebesar 28.07%. modul ini menarik bagi peserta didik dan dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar tambahan dalam mempelajari perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia. On this research and development is aimed to produce social science module based on role playing learning method material struggle independence of Indonesia fifth grade in elementary school. The method used instructional development of Atwi Suparman. There were eight stages done in this research and development, there are identify instructional needs and write general instructional objectives, perform instructional analysis, identifying the behavior and characteristics of the learner, write special instructional goals, compile a learning result assessment tool, develop instructional strategies, develop instructional materials, as well as designing and do formative evaluations. Respondents in research and development are, one lecturer materials experts, one linguist lecturer, one lecturer media expert, two teachers were teaching in fifth grade of elementary school, and 41 learner in fifth grade of elementary school. The result show that the modules based on role playing learning method material struggle of independence Indonesia in fifth grade is considered very good. It show form the average value of 88.59% according to experts, 98% according to small group evaluation, and 92% according to field test. This module provides final test results with an increase of 28.07%. This module appeals to learners and can be used as an additional learning resource in studying struggle independence of Indonesia.
