Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang kebermaknaan hidup yang dimiliki oleh penderita kanker payudara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan 3 orang subjek penderita kanker payudara. Penelitan ini dianalisis menggunakan metode interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) dan dalam pengolahan datanya, penelitian ini menggunakan software Nvivo. Kesimpulan dari ketiga kasus adalah subjek penelitian melewati beberapa tahap untuk mencapai kebermaknaan hidup yaitu tahap derita, tahap penemuan makna hidup, tahap penerimaan diri, tahap realisasi makna, tahap kehidupan bermakna. Ketiga subjek memiliki kesamaan dalam mencapai tahap kebermaknaan hidup adanya faktor religius yaitu sama-sama memandang penderitaan yang diberikan datangnya dari tuhan. The purpose of this study aims to find out about the meaningfulness of life possessed by breast cancer survivor, This study used a qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews to three subjects of the breast cancer’s survivors. The analytical method used interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) and data processing using NVivo software. The conclusion of the three cases from this study is the subjects of research through several stages to reach the meaningfulness of life, such as stage of suffering, self-acceptance stage, the stage of realization of the meaning, and the stage of life meaningful. These three subjects have similarities in reaching the stage of meangingfulness of life that is in presence of the religious factor, which both looked suffering is given comes from God.
