Abstract

Kerusakan lingkungan semakin hari semakin bertambah buruk, namun kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan masih rendah. Kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dapat ditingkatkan melalui membentuk citizenship behavior (perilaku bijak terhadap lingkungan). Locus of control merupakan salah satu penentu seseorang dalam memiliki citizenship behavior. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh locus of control terhadap citizenship behavior. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester II (genap) tahun 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui studi ex-post facto. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 54 siswa yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Terdapat 32 butir valid dari 43 butir pada instrumen locus of control. Terdapat 40 butir valid dari 51 butir pada instrumen citizenhsip behavior. Masing-masing instrumen locus of control dan citizenship behavior memiliki koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,91 dan 0,92. Hasil pengujian normalitas data menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov didapatkan data berdistribusi normal. Hasil pengujian homogenitas data menggunakan uji F didapatkan data bersifat homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t diperoleh bahwa thitung > ttabel pada α = 0,01, maka tolak H0 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan antara citizenship behavior siswa yang memiliki locus of control internal dengan locus of control eksternal. Perbedaan tersebut membuktikan adanya pengaruh locus of control terhadap citizenship behavior siswa. Damage of environment is getting worse, but public concern to environment is still low. The low concern to environment can be improved through shaping citizenship behavior. Locus of control is one of the determinant of citizenship behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of locus of control to student’s citizenship behavior. This study was conducted in second semester 2016/2017. The type of research was quantitative research with survey method through ex post facto study. The subject were students of class science eleventh grade with sample size of 54 students were selected by simple random sampling. there are 32 items valid from 43 items on locus of control instrument. There are 40 valid items from 51 items. Reliability of locus of control is 0.91 and reliability of citizenship behavior is 0.92. The result of normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov, normal distribution of data obtained. The result of homogeneity test using the F test, homogeneous of data obtained. The hypothesis test using the t test showed that ttest > ttable at α = 0.01, reject H0, which means there is a difference between student’s citizenship behavior who have a internal locus of control with external locus of control. The diffrence means there is the effect of locus of control to student’s citizenship behavior.
