Abstract

Hasil deteksi medan magnet dari sampel diperoleh rentang 19,3226 – 263,764 G. A prototype magnetic material detector has been developed to detect and measure magnetic field of magnetic material at the desired location. The prototype consists of Hall Effect UGN3503 sensor that acts as a magnetic sensor, and SRF04 ultrasonic sensor as position sensor. This prototype works using Arduino Mega2560 microcontroller that serve to manage the entire work of the prototype. To control the motion of prototype from long distance, used android application by using bluetooth to send and receive the data. Magnetic sensor characterization results obtained sensor sensitivity value of 595 G / V with relative error 2.55% and 5cm effective working distance. The SRF04 sensor has a minimum reading distance of 6 cm and has a relative error of 4.8%. In this prototype the created application can receive and send data up to 42 m distance without any obstructions. The prototype can measure the magnetic field distribution of a sample with the variation of the type and size of the magnetic sample. Result of magnetic field detection from sample obtained range 19,3226 – 263,764 G.
