Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran Word Square terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 26 Pembangunan Jakarta dari bulan Juli sampai Desember 2016. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Negeri 26 Pembangunan Jakarta yang berjumlah 1.154 siswa yang berasal dari 36 kelas, sedangkan populasi terjangkaunya adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 384 siswa yang berasal dari 12 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah dua kelas yaitu kelas X TP (Teknik Permesinan) 1 terdiri dari 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang di berikan model pembelajaran Word Square dan X TIPTL (Teknik Instalasi Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik) 1 terdiri dari 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil uji coba validitas instrumen dengan menggunakan rumus Spearman Brown menghasilkan 43 soal yang valid dan 7 soal yang drop dari 50 soal, dan uji reliabilitas diperoleh nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,914 yang berarti instrumen dapat digunakan. Uji persyaratan analisis menggunakan uji normalitas pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh Lhitung (0,085) < Ltabel (0,157) maka sebaran data berdistribusi normal dan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh Lhitung (0,104) < Ltabel (0,157) maka sebaran data berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Barlett dan diperoleh X2 hitung < X2 tabel = 1,076 < 3,84 maka kedua varians homogen diterima. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji t menghasilkan thitung 5,384 > ttabel 2,00 pada taraf kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Word Square terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran sejarah di SMK Negeri 26 Pembangunan Jakarta. This study attempts to get empirical data on the impact of learning model word square to study results on the subjects of history.The study is done in SMK Negeri 26 Pembangunan Jakarta from july until december 2016.Approach research used is the quantitative approach with the experimental methods.Population target in this research was all students SMK Negeri 26 Pembangunan Jakarta were 1.154 of students who came from 36 class, while the population of affordale were students class x were 384 of students who came from 12 class.Technique the sample collection use simple random sampling.Samples to be taken us are going classes class x tp ( engineering machinery 1 consisting of 32 students as a class experiment in give learning model word square and x tiptl ( engineering installation the use of electricity ) 1 consisting of 32 students as a class control. The test validity of an instrument with using formulas spearman brown produce 43 about being valid and 7 out of 50 about the drop , and reliability test scores of obtained reliability 0,914 which means an instrument can be used .The analysis using the requirements of normality on class experiment obtained Lhitung (0,085) < Ltabel (0,157) and distribution of data in the distribution of normal and on class control obtained Lhitung (0,104) < Ltabel (0,157) and distribution of data in the distribution .The test homogeneity use barlett and obtained x2 count & it; x2 table = 1,076 & it; 3,84 then both variance homogeneous accepted . The testing of hypotheses using formulas test t menghasilkan thitung 5,384 > ttabel 2,00 at standard trust 95% (α = 0,05), then h0 turned down and h1 accepted.We can conclude that is the word square learning model of the results of the study graders x at subjects history state 26 jakarta development.
