Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis dengan model pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain pada pokok bahasan suhu dan kalor untuk SMA kelas X menjadi media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan oleh siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Instrumen penelitian produk dan respon siswa berupa lembar angket yang terdiri atas lima aspek yaitu aspek kualitas isi, aspek bahasa, aspek teknik penyajian, aspek pendukung penyajian, dan aspek ilustrasi. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi mendapatkan persentase rata-rata 90,10%, ahli media 93,82% dan guru SMA 93,02% dengan interpretasi “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan uji gain diperoleh skor gain 0,7, menunjukkan bahwa LKS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan dan uji gain dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis POE pada pokok bahasan suhu dan kalor dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran. This study was conducted to develop a student work sheet based on Predict Observe Explain (POE) model learning in temperature and heat for senior high school grade X to be appropriate as a standardized and well learning media for students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model. Questionnare was given as the assessmentinstrument of the study which consists of five indicators; quality of content, language, presentation techniques, supporting presentation and illustration. The work sheet acquired average percentage of 90,10% of materialstandart, 93,82% of media-standart, 93,02% of teacher-standart with the “very good” interpretation. The work sheet had 0,7 gain-score, indicated that it can enhance student’s learning result in the “high” category. The result strengthened that the student work sheet based on POE model learning in temperature and heat material was appropriate as a standarized and well learning media.
