Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV sekolah dasar Kelurahan Menteng Atas, Jakarta Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi, Jakarta Selatan sebanyak 64 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Posttest Only Control Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket mengenai sikap ilmiah dengan skala Likert. Intrumen tersebut kemudian diuji normalitas dan homogenitas sebagai uji persyaratan data. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh thitung = 2,695 dengan dk = 62, sedangkan harga ttabel pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 0,05 dengan dk = 62 adalah sebesar 1,671. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut diperoleh bahwa thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel (2,695 > 1,671), maka artinya hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis kerja (H1) diterima. Hal ini dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan strategi REACT terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV sekolah dasar di Kelurahan Menteng Atas, Jakarta Selatan. This study aimed to determine the effect of Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) strategy to the scientific attitude in science subjects of grade 4 student’s primary school in the village of Menteng Atas, South Jakarta. This experiment used 64 students as the sample from the Menteng Atas 05 South of Jakarta Primary School. The technique of getting the sample was simple random sampling. The method used was the experimental method with posttest only control design. The instrument of this research was questionnaries about scientific attitude with Likert scale. The instrument was then tested for normality and homogeneity as a data testing requirements. Further analyzed using t-test hypotheses. The result was obtained tcount = 2,695 with df = 62 , while the price of ttable at significance level (α) = 0.05 with df = 62 is equal to 1,671. The results showed that tcount greater than ttable (2,695 > 1,671), it means that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the working hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It can be stated that there was a significant influence on the use of REACT strategy to the scientific attitude in science subject grade 4 student’s primary school in the village of Menteng Atas, South Jakarta.
