Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan gizi melalui jaringan sosial (WhatsApp) terhadap pengetahuan tentang diabetes melitus dikalangan pra lansia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Posbindu Rt 08 dan 09/05 Kel. Lenteng Agung, Kec. Jagakarsa, Kab. Jakarta Selatan. Dari populasi tersebut, yang diambil untuk dijadikan sampel dari Posbindu sebanyak 60 orang, terbagi dalam 30 responden kelompok Kontrol dan 30 responden kelompok WhatsApp yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Adapun pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai dari Juni 2016 - Desember 2016. Data diperoleh dari hasil pengukuran pengetahuan diabetes di wilayah Posbindu tersebut. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini meliputi usia, tingkat pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Pengujian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas dan Uji Mann-Whitney. Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas dan Uji Mann-Whitney digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi uji persyaratan instrumen. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan Uji Normalitas data kelompok Kontrol dan WhatsApp 0.118118 dengan taraf signifikan 0.114382, maka data tersebut tidak berdistribusi normal. Serta Uji Homogenitas setelah dilakukan pengujian, ternyata hasilnya homogen dikarenakan Fhitung 1,09 < Ftabel 1.84. Maka dilanjutkan menggunakan Uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil Uji Mann-Whitney menyimpulkan bahwa Zhitung > Ztabel, dikarenakan Zhitung yaitu 0.3252574 dan Ztabel yaitu 0.1255. Sehingga keputusan Ho ditolak, Hi diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh pedidikan gizi melalui jaringan sosial (whatsapp) terhadap pengetahuan tentang diabetes mellitus dikalangan pra lansia. This research aims to understand and analyze the influence of nutrition education through social network ( whatsapp ) on knowledge of diabetes mellitus among all these pre for the elderly. Methods used in this research is a method of surveying .In this study the research was done in the area of posbindu rt 08-09 / 05 kelurahan Lenteng Agung village, subdistrict Jagakarsa, regency South Jakarta. Of the population, that is taken for are only sampled of posbindu about 60 personnel, divided into 30 respondents the control group and 30 respondents group whatsapp were chosen in using a technique purposive sampling. As for the implementation of the research commenced from june 2016 to december 2016. Data obtained from the results of the measurement of knowledge diabetes in the posbindu the. While factors that deals with this research include age, levels of education and work. Tests carried out in this research was a test of normality, of homogeneity test and test it mannwhitney. Normality test, of homogeneity test and test it mann-whitney used to identify requirements test instrument. A result of calculation using normality test data the control group and whatsapp 0.118118 with significant 0.114382 economic situation, then the data berdistribusi not normal. As well as of homogeneity test after conducting testing, it turns out that the results are homogenous because Fhitung 1,09 < Ftabel 1.84. Then continued use mann-whitney test. Testing shows mann-whitney concluded that Zhitung & > Ztabel , because Zhitung namely 0.3252574 and Ztabel namely 0.1255. So that the decision Ho rejected, Hi accepted. It can be argued that availability of the influence of pedidikan nutrition through social network (whatsapp) on knowledge of diabetes mellitus among all these pre for the elderly.
