Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas sifat-sifat dari proses renewal dengan waktu diskret. Proses renewal dengan waktu diskret adalah proses renewal {N(n), n ≥ 0} dengan waktu n = 0, 1, 2, . . .. Sifat-sifat dari proses renewal dijelaskan dalam teorema dan pembuktiannya. Sifat-sifat yang dibahas meliputi distribusi probabilitas, harga harapan, dan limit distribusi. Pada akhir pembahasan diberikan contoh penerapan proses renewal dengan waktu diskret pada pertumbuhan populasi. This thesis describes the properties of discrete-time renewal processes. The properties of discrete-time renewal processes is a renewal process {N(n), n ≥ 0} where n = 0, 1, 2, . . .. The properties of the renewal process described in the theorems and its proof. The properties include the distribution of probability, expected value, and limit distribution. At the end of the discussion we give an example of the application of the discrete-time renewal process in population growth.
