Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem proteksi aktif kebakaran didalam gedung untuk menjamin keselamatan pengguna gedung serta melindungi aset-aset penting dari risiko bahaya kebakaran. Perancangan sistem proteksi kebakaran didasarkan pada NFPA (National Fire Protection Association). Kegiatan perancangan dan pengembangan meliputi ini meliputi sistem springkler, sistem perpipaan, pompa, reservoar , sistem deteksi, alarm dan otomasi. Dari hasil perancangan diperoleh jumlah total kepala springkler berjumlah 429, kelapa detektor asap berjumlah 103, dengan kapasitas pompa 320 GPM atau 1200 Liter/s dan ukuran reservoar 40 m3. The purpose of this research is to design an active fire protection system in the building to ensure the safety of the occupant of the building and to protect the important assets from the risk of fire hazard. Design of fire protection system is based on NFPA (National Fire Protection Association). Design and development activities include sprinkler systems, piping systems, pumps, reservoirs, detection systems, alarms and automation. From the design result, the total number of sprinkler heads is 429, smoke detector of 103, with fire pump capacity 320 GPM or 1200 L / min and reservoir size is 40 m3.
