Abstract

VSAT (Very Small Aparture Terminal) menggunakan frekuensi ku-band cukup populer di Indonesia karena karakteristiknya yang sesuai dengan kondisi wilayah kepulauan. Mengacu pada pentingnya kualitas layanan jaringan, maka pada penelitian tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan analisis VSAT IP pada mobile ku�band. Beberapa parameter yang digunakan diantaranya adalah nilai receive (Sqf), nilai transmit (Txcode), dan QoS yang terdiri dari delay, bandwidth dan packet loss pada sisi mobile Ku-band. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dengan menghitung nilai sampel data yang telah dianalisa dan diukur pada saat pengamatan, tools yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Axence NetTools dan utilitas trafik monitoring netflow analyzer. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seberapa besar kualitas layanan yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan layanan. Dari hasil pengukuran setelah adanya perbaikan, menunjukan pengaruh peningkatan nilai penerimaan (Sqf), Txcode terhadap utilitas trafik yang mencapai lebih dari 70% sehingga untuk saat ini link dalam kondisi dapat beroperasional dengan baik (good operational). Kualitas layanan adalah kemampuan sebuah jaringan untuk menyediakan layanan yang lebih baik lagi bagi layanan trafik yang melewatinya. Sebuah sistem jaringan yang handal akan dapat melayani semua lalulintas data baik dalam keadaan tinggi maupun rendah. Kinerja VSAT IP pada mobile ku-band dikatakan bekerja secara optimal jika parameter kinerjanya mencapai standar yang sudah ditentukan. *VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) using frequency-band ku quite popular in Indonesia due to its characteristics according to the conditions of the islands. Referring to the importance of the quality of network services, then in this research will be done analysis on the mobile IP VSAT ku-band. Some parameters used include the value of acceptance (SQF), Txcode, and QoS. The method used in this study to calculate the value of the data sample has been analyzed and measured at the time of observation, the tools used in this study is Axence NetTools and traffic monitoring netflow analyzer utility. The results showed that how much the quality of services that can meet the needs of the service. From the measurement results after the repair, show the effect of increasing the value of the reception (SQF), Txcode against utilities traffic reached more than 70% so for the current link condition can be operational with (good operational). Reliability performance of the service is the ability of a network to provide better service for the service traffic to pass through. A reliable network system will be able to serve all the data traffic in both the high and low state. Performance on a mobile IP VSAT ku-band can be said to work optimally if the performance parameter reaches a predetermined standard.
