Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka mengevaluasi penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran konstruktivisme yang selama tiga tahun belum pernah dievaluasi secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran konstruktivisme di SDIT Permata Bunda berdasarkan prinsip konstruktivisme yang dijabarkan ke dalam 5 langkah implementasi konstruktivisme yang dikemukakan oleh Gredler. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDIT Permata Bunda Jakarta dan penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Januari 2014 – Mei 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif yang hasilnya nanti akan digunakan untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan proses pembelajaran yang telah ada. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka jenis evaluasi pada penelitian ini adalah evaluasi formatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus, karena penelitian ini menggambarkan secara rinci dan mendalam tentang suatu kondisi tertentu di suatu tempat. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan observasi, pengumpulan dokumen dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tahap pertama sampai tahap kelima guru telah melaksanakan pendekatan pembelajaran dengan sangat baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari 21 indikator yang terdapat pada langkah pertama sampai langkah kelima telah terpenuhi dan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip konstruktivisme. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka SDIT Permata Bunda Jakarta diharapkan dapat terus mempertahankan dan mendukung guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan konstruktivisme di setiap proses pembelajaran. *This study conducted to do evaluation of the implementation of the constructivism instructional approach for three years never had the evaluation process. The purposes of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the constructivism instructional approach has been applied at SDIT Permata Bunda Jakarta based on the principles of constructivism that explained into five steps constructivism implementation proposed by Gredler. This research was conducted at SDIT Permata Bunda Jakarta and time to conduct this research is from January 2014 to May 2015. This research is an evaluative study which result of this study will be used to improve and enhance the learning process that has been existed. Based on this, the type of evaluation in this study is a formative evaluation. The method of this study is case study research method, because this study described in detail and depth about a particular condition somewhere. Data on this study was collected from observation, collection of documents, and interview. The result of this research show that from the first step to the fifth step, teacher has been executing very well. It can be seen from the 21 indicators contained in the first step to the fifth step that has been fulfilled and in accordance with the principles of constructivism. Based on this, SDIT Permata Bunda Jakarta is expected to maintain and support teachers in implementing the constructivism approach in each of the learning process.
