Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbedaan kesejahteraan subjektif berdasarkan faktor demografis pada pasien terminal illness. Sampel penelitian ini adalah individu yang menderita penyakit kronis yang sedang atau sudah menjalani pengobatan dan berusia 13 – 60 tahun sebanyak 135 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah insidental sampling (non-probability sampling). Analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah chi square dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 16.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kesejahteraan subjektif berdasarkan faktor demografi pada pasien terminal illness. Besar koefisien chi kuadrat yang dihasilkan adalah 0,000 untuk semua faktor demografi (usia, jenis kelamin, dan status pernikahan). This study aims to determine the differences in subjective well-being based on demographic factors in patients with terminal illness. The sample is individuals between 13 – 60 years old who suffer from chronic diseases which are or have been undergoing treatment with 135 people. The study used quantitative research method with incidental sampling (non-probability sampling). Statistical analysis for testing the hypothesis is chi-square test using SPSS version 16.00. The result showed that there are differences in subjective well-being based on demographic factors in patients with terminal illness which has been proved by the coefficient of chi-square test of 0.000 for all demographic factors (age, sex, and marital status)
