Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latihan mana yang memiliki pengaruh lebih baik antara latihan joging dan senam aerobik terhadap peningkatan kebugaran jasmani angggota Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen Universitas Negeri Jakarta (PMK UNJ). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di GOR Rawamangun, Kecamatan Pulo Gadung Jakarta Timur dari tanggal 10 Mei – 10 Juni 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen “Two Group Pre-test and Post-test Design”. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling, sampel yang berjumlah 24 orang dari jumlah populasi 198 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t-independen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistic dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa uji-t mulai dari menghitung t-hitung untuk dibandingkan dengan nilai t�tabel pada taraf signifikan 5%. Data tes akhir kebugaran jasmani pada kelompok joging dan senam aerobik diperoleh standar perbedaan antara dua mean (SEMxMy) = 0,114 nilai tersebut menjadi t-hitung diperoleh = 2,368. Kemudian hasil perhitungan tersebut diujikan dengan tabel pada derajat kebebasan (dk) = (n2+n2) – 2 = (12+12) – 2 = 22 dan taraf kepercayaan 0,05 diperoleh nilai kritis t-tabel 1,717 (t-hitung = 2,368 > t-tabel = 1,717). Kesimpulan akhir yang diperoleh melalui penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara latihan joging dan senam aerobik terhadap peningkatan kebugaran jasmani dimana kelompok jogging mendapat pengaruh lebih baik dibanding latihan senam aerobik terhadap peningkatan kebugaran jasmani pada angota PMK UNJ. Rata-rata peningkatan kebugaran jasmani dari latihan joging lebih baik hasilnya dibanding latihan senam aerobik karena dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan instrumen tes yang digunakan ketika menguji daya tahan jantung dan paru atau VO2Max adalah balke test dimana latihan joging dan instrumen tesnya memiliki kemiripan sehingga hasil tesnya lebih baik. This study aims to find out the exercises that have a better influence between jogging exercise and aerobic gymnastic on improving the physical fitness of members of the fellowship of Christian students State Univeristy of Jakarta (PMK UNJ). This research was conducted at the sport hall of Rawamangun, subdistrict Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta from May 10th to June 10th, 2017. The method used is the experimental method "Two Group Pre-test and Post-test Design" with purposive sampling technique, a sample of 24 people from a population of 198 people. Data analysis technique used is t-independent test. Data analysis technique used is statistical technique with t-test at significant level (α = 0,05). The data analysis technique used is t-test analysis starting from counting t-count to compare with t-table value at significant level 5%. The data of the final physical fitness test in jogging and aerobic groups obtained the difference standard between two mean (SEMxMy) = 0,114 the value becomes t-count obtained = 2,368. Then the result of the calculation is tested with the table on degrees of freedom (dk) = (n2+n2) – 2 = (12+12) – 2 = 22 and the level of trust of 0,05 obtained t-table critical value of 1,717 (t-count = 2,368 > t-table = 1,717). The final conclusion which obtained through this study is that there is a significant difference between jogging and aerobic exercise on improving physical fitness in which jogging groups get a better effect than aerobic exercise on improving physical fitness on members of fellowship of Christian students (PMK UNJ). The average of increase in physical fitness from the exercise of jogging is better than aerobic exercise because in this study the researcher used the test instrument which is used when testing the heart and lung resistance or VO2Max is a balke test where the jogging exercise and the test instrument have similarities so that the test results are better.
