Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 28 Jakarta yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2015. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Sumber data dari penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, dan beberapa informan pendukung antara lain Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Hubungan dan Industri, guru PJOK, dan guru bahasa inggris. Perencanaan pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 di SMKN 28 Jakarta dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan, menyusun anggaran dana, menyusun rencana kegiatan, membentuk kepanitian, membuat agenda/jadwal kegiatan, menetapkan dan menghubungi narasumber, menyiapkan sarana dan prasarana, dan membuat surat tugas untuk seluruh guru. Sedangkan, pelaksanaan program pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahapan pembuka, tahapan inti, dan tahapan penutup. SMKN 28 Jakarta hendaknya dapat menyusun proposal yang lebih terencana dalam menyelenggarakan pengembangan kompetensi guru, melakukan sosialisasi program pengembangan kepada seluruh guru, serta menyusun strategi pelaksanaan program pengembangan yang efektif dan efesien. ************ *This research was held in SMK Negeri 28 Jakarta that aimed to identify the development process of teacher competencies in the implementation of the curriculum 2013. This research was conducted from January to May 2015. This research used a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection performed through interview, observation, and document study. Sources of data from this research were school principal, vice principal of curriculum, and several supporting informants such as vice principal of affairs and industry, PJOK teacher, and English teacher. Teacher competency development plan in the implementation of curriculum 2013 in SMKN 28 Jakarta was conducted by identifying the needs of development, preparing budget, arranging program planning, arranging committee, arranging the agenda/activities time table, defining and contacting speakers, setting up facilities and infrastructure, and preparing an assignment letter for all teachers. While, implementation of teacher competency development program in the implementation of curriculum 2013 carried out through several stages, including the opening, the core stage, and closing. SMKN 28 Jakarta should arrange a better planned proposal in carrying out teacher competency development, conducting socialization for all teachers regarding development program, and arrange strategy in carrying out development program effectively and efficiently
