Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap disiplin berlalu lintas pada sopir truk. Pada penelitian ini terdapat beberapa fenomena yang diangkat sebagai sumber masalah. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah sopir PT. Legno Tropicalindo yang berjumlah 72 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan tipe penelitian kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling yaitu sampel jenuh, dan analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi linier dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 16.00. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, nilai F sebesar 17.596 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000. Persamaan regresi, Y=114,734 + (-0,776) X dan besar pengaruh (R Square) variabel sebanyak 20,1% sisanya 79,9 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain selain stres kerja. Oleh karena itu Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara stres kerja dan kedisiplinan berlalu lintas pada sopir truk. Artinya semakin tinggi stres kerja sopir truk maka semakin rendah kedisiplinannya. ********** *This study is aimed to find out the influence of truck drivers' occupational stress over traffic discipline. The study approach used is quantitative with regression analysis study methodology with SPSS version 16.00 as analysis data technique. The total participants are 72 truck drivers from PT.Legno Tropicalindo. This value is the result based on the calculation made by using "sampling saturation" technique. Based on the results of the data, the F value is 17.596 with 0,000 as the significance level. The value that has been inserted to generate regression equation contains of Y=114,734+(-0,776) X followed by the influence of (R square) variable which is 20,1%. The remaining 79,9% are influenced by factors other than occupational stress. In this calculation, Ho is rejected and Ha has been accepted which results in a negative effect between occupation stress and traffic discipline over the truck drivers'. As for the outcome of this formula, when occupational stress of truck drivers' have increased, the traffic discipline rate will surely decrease
