Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika tentang lingkaran melalui pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning pada siswa kelas V SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan, khususnya siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 32 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model spiral atau siklus dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan persentase nilai pemantau tindakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning siklus I sebesar 80,00% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 91,33%. Adapun hasil belajar matematika pada siklus I sebesar 78,12% dari jumlah siswa yang mencapai skor ≥ 70 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,50% dari jumlah siswa yang mencapai skor ≥ 70. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika tentang lingkaran pada siswa kelas V SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan ******* This study aims to determine the effort to improve mathematics learning outcomes of the circle through the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach in class V SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi Setiabudi, South Jakarta. Research conducted at SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi Setiabudi, South Jakarta, especially the students of class V, which amounted to 32 people. The study was conducted by using a model of spiral or cycle of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. This classroom action research conducted through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The analysis showed the percentage of the value of monitoring actions Contextual Teaching and Learning approach first cycle of 80.00% and the second cycle increased to 91.33%. The results of the study of mathematics in the first cycle of 78.12% of the total number of students who achieve a score of ≥ 70 and on the second cycle increased to 87.50% of the total number of students who achieve a score of ≥ 70. From these results it can be concluded that the use of Contextual Teaching approach and Learning in learning mathematics can improve learning outcomes of the circle in class V SDN Menteng Atas 05 Pagi Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
