Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi dan data tentang profil warga belajar Paket C ditinjau dari aspek latar belakang pendidikan, aspek lingkungan sosial, aspek tingkat ekonomi, dan aspek motivasi di PKBM Kecamatan Kembangan Jakarta Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu tiga PKBM dengan jumlah 60 warga belajar yang aktif dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 warga belajar dengan masingmasing 10 warga belajar dari tiga PKBM tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada aspek latar belakang pendidikan, warga belajar Paket C beragam usia, dari usia remaja akhir hingga dewasa. Latar belakang pendidikan warga belajar Paket C ada yang lulusan program Paket B dan karena putus sekolah. Aspek lingkungan sosial menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang keluarga warga belajar Paket C berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu dilihat berdasarkan penghasilan orang tua yang rata-rata tidak menentu, selain itu tujuan warga belajar mengikuti program Paket C untuk meningkatkan karier dan jabatan mereka. Aspek tingkat ekonomi menunjukkan bahwa pembiayaan program Paket C oleh warga belajar sendiri yang rata-rata mereka sudah bekerja sebagai karyawan sebagian besar. Aspek motivasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa motivasi mengikuti belajar Paket C berasal dari keinginan sendiri. Warga belajar merasa senang mengikuti program Paket C, karena mendapatkan pengetahuan yang luas dan bermanfaat untuk kehidupan mereka, serta mereka juga rata-rata ingin melanjutkan pendidikannya ke bangku kuliah. This study aims to determine the profile information and data about learners Package C in terms of aspects educational background, social environmental aspects, aspects of economic levels, and aspects of motivation in CLC Kembangan District of West Jakarta. The method used is a survey with a descriptive approach and techniques of data collection using questionnaires. The population in this study is three CLC with the number 60 are active learners and samples taken were 30 residents learn with each 10 residents learned of the three CLC. The results showed that the aspect of educational background, people learn Package C diverse ages, from late teens to adults. Educational background people learn nothing Package C Package B and graduate programs for dropouts. Aspects of the social environment shows that family background learners C Package comes from poor families seen by the income of parents whose average uncertain, besides learning community goals Package C program to improve their careers and positions. Aspects of economic levels showed that the financing package C by the learners themselves are on average they had worked as employees mostly. Motivational aspects of learning shows that the motivation to follow the learning Package C is derived from his own desires. Residents learn to feel happy to follow the program package C, due to gain extensive knowledge and useful for their lives, and they also average wish to continue their education to college
