Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of instructional cooperative models and the formative test form toward english reading achievement. The population of this research is student of senior high school at Tana Tidung. Research sample is student grade XI of Senoir High School 1 at Tana Tidung determined by simple random sampling technique. This method research was applied experiment with two treatment. Design applied was factorial design 2x2. The data further was processed using two way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued with t test. Result of research that : (1) English Reading achievement student following study with cooperative CIRC model higher than compared SQ3R model. (2) English Reading achievement student was given assessment objective test form higher than compare essay test, and (3) There is no interaction effect between instructional cooperative model and the formative test form to result of english reading achievement.
