Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek kerja olahraga menggunakan alat EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) terhadap kehilangan cairan tubuh pada member 20Fit SCBD. Penelitian ini dilakukan di studio 20Fit SCBD, Jakarta Selatan pada tanggal 11-12 Juni 2016. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode “experiment” dengan desain penelitian menggunakan One Group “Pre-Test And Post-Test Design”. Sampel yang digunakan adalah member dari 20Fit SCBD, diambil 20 orang dari 97 populasi yang ada. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling. Teknik pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda yang dilanjutkan dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan, terdapat penurunan cairan tubuh setelah melakukan olahraga menggunakan alat EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) pada member 20Fit SCBD. Nilai rata-rata dari hasil yang didapatkan pada tes awal adalah 73,03 kg dan tes akhir 72,75 kg. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh selisih rata-rata (MD) 0,29 dengan standar deviasi perbedaan (SDD) 0,076 dan standar error perbedaan rata-rata (SEMD) 0,017. Dalam perhitungan selanjutnya, diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 17,05 dan nilai t-tabel dengan derajat kebebasan (n-1) dan taraf signifikan 5% didapat sebesar 2,09 yang berarti nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari nilai t�tabel (t-hitung > t-tabel) yang menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nihil (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Dengan demikian diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat efek kerja olahraga menggunakan alat EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) terhadap kehilangan cairan tubuh pada member 20Fit SCBD This study aims to determine the effect of exercise using EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) against loss of body fluid on member of 20Fit SCBD. This research was done at studio 20Fit SCBD, South Jakarta on June 11th-12th 2016. This research method using the "experiment" with the research design using One Group "Pre-Test And Post-Test Design". Samples are member of 20Fit SCBD, taken 20 from 97 population. Sampling by purposive sampling. Mechanical testing the hypothesis by using statistical analysis technique simple correlation and multiple correlation followed by t�test at significant level α = 0.05. The results of the research illustrate, there is a decrease in body fluids after exercise using the tool EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) on the member 20Fit SCBD. The average of the first test is 73,03kg and the final test is 72,75kg. From the analysis of data acquired the average difference is 0,29 with the standard deviation difference is 0.076 and average of standard difference the average is 0,017. In further calculations, the value of t-count is 17,05 and the value of t-table with degrees of freedom (n-1) and the significance level 5% is 2,09, which meant t-count value bigger than t-table (t-count > t-table) which indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Therefore be taken by conclusion that there are an effect of exercise using EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) against loss of body fluid on member of 20Fit SCBD
