Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate the influence of visionary leadership, competence in law enforcement at sea, and work discipline on employee performance in the Deputy for Operations and Training of the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency. The research process was carried out in the Deputy for Operations and Training of the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency using quantitative and causal methods and analyzed by path analysis. The research sample was 110 employees of the Deputy for Operations and Training of the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency who were selected by simple random sampling. The findings are: (1) there is a positive and significant effect of visionary leadership on employee work performance, (2) there is a positive and significant influence of visionary leadership on law enforcement competence at sea, (3) there is a positive and significant influence on law enforcement competence at sea on employee work performance, (4) there is a positive and significant effect of work discipline on employee work performance, (5) there is a positive and significant influence of visionary leadership on work discipline, (6) there is a positive and significant influence of law enforcement competence at sea on work discipline, (7) there is positive and significant influence of visionary leadership on work performance through work discipline, through the Sobel test of work discipline proven to be able to mediate the effect of visionary leadership on work discipline, (8) there is a positive influence of law enforcement competence at sea on work performance through work discipline, through the Sobel test of discipline proven work i is able to mediate the effect of competence on law enforcement at sea on work discipline. Referring to these findings, the researcher can conclude that employee performance is positively influenced by visionary leadership, competence in law enforcement at sea, and work discipline. Therefore, to maintain employee performance, organizations must apply visionary leadership, competence in law enforcement at sea, and work discipline. Finally, it is concluded that visionary leadership, competence in law enforcement at sea, and work discipline must be considered in producing employee performance. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner, kompetensi penegakkan hukum di laut, dan disiplin kerjaterhadap prestasi kerja pegawai di Lingkungan Deputi Operasi dan Latihan Badan Keamanan Laut RI. Proses penelitian dilakukan di Lingkungan Deputi Operasi dan Latihan Badan Keamanan Laut RI ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kausalitas serta dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Sampel penelitian adalah 110 responden pegawai di Lingkungan Deputi Operasi dan Latihan Badan Keamanan Laut RI yang dipilih secara sampling acak sederhana. Hasil temuannya adalah: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan visioner terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan visioner terhadap kompetensi penegakan hukum di laut, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi penegakan hukum di laut terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai, (4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai, (5) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan visioner terhadap disiplin kerja, (6) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi penegakan hukum di laut terhadap disiplin kerja, (7) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan visioner terhadap prestasi kerja melalui disiplin kerja, melalui Sobel test disiplin kerja terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner terhadap disiplin kerja,(8) terdapat pengaruh positif kompetensi penegakan hukum di laut terhadap prestasi kerja melalui disiplin kerja, melalui Sobel test disiplin kerja terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh kompetensi terhadap penegakan hukum di laut terhadap disiplin kerja. Mengacu pada temuan ini, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa prestasi kerja pegawai dipengaruhi secara positif oleh kepemimpinan visioner, kompetensi penegakkan hukum di laut, dan disiplin kerja. Oleh karena itu, untuk menjaga pretasi kerja pegawai, organisasi harus menerapkan kepemimpinan visioner, kompetensi penegakkan hukum di laut, dan disiplin kerja. Akhirnya, disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner, kompetensi penegakkan hukum di laut, dan disiplin kerja harus dipertimbangkan dalam menghasilkan prestasi kerja pegawai.
