Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang profesionalitas guru biologi dengan hasil belajar biologi siswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November – Desember 2010 di SMA Negeri 61 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 62 siswa diambil 35% dari jumlah siswa sebanyak lima kelas pada kelas sepuluh secara simple random sampling. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji regresi, diperoleh bahwa model regresi Y = 84,55 + 0,01X tidak signifikan dan mempunyai hubungan yang linier. Berdasarkan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,0185 maka terima H0 pada α = 0,05. Hal ini berarti terdapat hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang profesionalitas guru biologi dengan hasil belajar biologi siswa dengan tingkat korelasi sangat lemah. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,03%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebesar 0,03% variasi persepsi siswa tentang profesionalitas guru biologi memberi kontribusi variasi hasil belajar melalui model regresi Y = 84,55 + 0,01X. Maka 99,97% lagi ditentukan oleh faktor lain. The aim of this research was to determine the correlation between student perception of professionality biology teacher with the results of students learning biology. This research was conducted in November - December 2010 in 61 senior high school Jakarta. The method used was descriptive with correlation techniques. Sampel taken with simple random sampling amounted to 62 students taken as many as 35% of students overall five classes in the 10th grade. Results of hypothesis testing with regression test, found that the regression model Y = 84,55 + 0,01X is not significant and has a linear relationship. Hypothesis test using Pearson Product Moment correlation test result of significance test of correlation coefficient of 0.0185 hence H0 was accepted at α = 0,05. This means there was correlation no significant between student perception of professionality biology teacher with the results of students learning biology with a degree of correlation was very weak. Calculation of coefficient of determination obtained value was 0,03%, so it can be concluded that as much as 0.03% variation in student perceptions of professionality of biology teacher contributed variation the results of students learning biology through regression model Y = 84,55 +0,01X, so 99,97% longer determined by other factors.
