Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris yang valid, dan dapat dipercaya (reliable) tentang apakah terdapat Hubungan Antara Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dengan Motivasi Berprestasi Siswa . Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta selama lima bulan terhitung sejak Agustus 2010 sampai dengan Desember 2010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik acak sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta yang di asuh dengan pola asuh orang tua oleh orang tua masing-masing. Berdasarkan survei awal, populasi terjangkau adalah siswa kelas XI Jurusan Pemasaran SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta yaitu sebanyak 76 siswa. Kemudian berdasarkan sampel dari tabel populasi, diambil sampel sebanyak 62 orang dengan sampling error 5 %. Untuk menjaring data dari kedua varaibel digunakan kuesioner model skala likert untuk Pola Asuh Orang Tua ( Variabel X ) dan Motivasi Berprestasi ( Variabel Y). Sebelum instrumen ini digunakan dilakukan uji validitas untuk kedua variabel. Untuk variabel X, dari 30 butir pernyataan setelah divalidasi terdapat 4 butir pernyataan yang drop, sedangkan yang memenuhi kriteria atau valid terdiri dari 26 butir pernyataan. Untuk variabel Y, dari 35 butir pernyataan setelah divalidasi terdapat 5 butir pernyataan yang drop, sedangkan yang memenuhi kriteria atau valid terdiri 30 butir pernyataan. Perhitunan reliabilitas kedua variabel itu menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil reliabilitas varibel X sebesar 0,885 dan hasil reliabilitas variabel Y sebesar 0,917. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa instrumen tersebut reliable. Uji persyaratan analisis yaitu uji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji liliefors menghasilkan L hitung = 0.1024, sedangkan L tabel untuk n = 62 pada taraf signifikan 0, 05 adalah 0.11252. Karena L hitung < L tabel maka galat taksiran Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan adalah Ŷ = 63.66 + 0.50X . Dari uji keberartian regresi menghasilkan Fhitung > Ftabel , yaitu 27.21 > 4,00, artinya persamaan regresi tersebut signifikan. Uji linearitas regresi menghasilkan F hitung < F tabel yaitu 0.96 < 19.460, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa persamaan regreasi tersebut linier. Koefisien korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson menghasilkan rxy = 0.563, selanjutnya dilakukan uji keberartian koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan uji t dan dihasilkan t hitung = 5.277 dan t tabel = 1.67. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa koefisien korelasi rxy = 0.563 adalah signifikan. Koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh sebesar 31.69 % yang menunjukkan bahwa 31.69 % variasi Motivasi Berprestasi ditentukan oleh pola asuh orang tua. Hasil perhitungan menyimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pola asuh orang tua dengan Motivasi Berprestasi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 50 di Jakarta Timur. This study aims to obtain empirical data valid, and trustworthy (reliable) about whether the Relationship Between Parenting Otang Parents With Student Achievement Motivation. This research was done in 50 Jakarta High School in East Jakarta for five months from August 2010 until December 2010. The research method used is survey method with the correlation approach. The sampling technique used is simple random technique. The population in this study were students of 50 High School Jakarta uare in the foster parents with child care by each parent. Based on initial surveys, the population is affordable Marketing Programs XI class student of 50 Jakarta High School in East Jakarta that as many as 76 students. Then based on samples from the population tables, the sample was taken 62 people with a sampling error of 5%. To gather data from both varaibel used questionnaire likert scale model for Parenting Parents (Variable X) and Achievement Motivation (variable Y). Before this instrument is used to test the validity for both variables. For variable X, from 30 grains validated statement after statement that there are 4 point drop, while that meet the criteria or invalid consists of 26 point statement. For variable Y, the 35 point statement after statement validated there are 5 items that drop, while that meet the criteria or invalid comprised 30 items statement. Perhitunan reliability of both variables was using Cronbach alpha formula. The result of the X variable reliability of 0.885 and the results of reliability variable Y at 0.917. These results prove that the instrument is reliable. Test requirements for analysis of the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with the test liliefors produce L count = 0.1024, while the L table for n = 62 at the significant level of 0, 05 is 0.11252. Because the count L <L table then the error estimate of Y on X have normal distribution. The resulting regression equation is Y = 63.66 + 0.50X. From the significance test of regression produces Fcount> Ftable, ie 27.21> 4.00, mean regression equation was significant. Testing linearity of regression to produce F count <F table that is 0.96 <19 460, which concluded that the linear equation regreasi. The correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment produce rxy = 0563, then performed significance test of correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting t count = 5.277 and t table = 1.67. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0563 is significant. The coefficient of determination is obtained equal to 31.69% which shows that 31.69% variation Achievement Motivation is determined by the pattern of parenting. The calculation result concludes there is a positive relationship between parenting parents with Achievement Motivation class XI student of SMK Negeri 50 East Jakarta.
