Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perilaku perundungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasi yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Depok. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 179 orang, tetapi hanya 53 orang yang mengalami perilaku perundungan (Bullying). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Teknik Purposive Sampling yang digunakan dimana pengambilan sampel dengan mengambil sample orang-orang yang dipilih oleh penulis menurut ciri-ciri spesifik dan karakteristik tertentu (Djarwanto,1998). Karakteristik yang dimaksudkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMP kelas VIII. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Komunikasi Interpersonal terhadap Perilaku Perundungan (Bullying) pada siswa SMP dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar (-0,729) yang berarti Komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh sebesar 53% terhadap perilaku perundungan (Bullying). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Ho diterima dengan hasil thitung(-7,61) <ttabel (2,00) sehingga Ho diterima, yaitu terdapat pengaruh berlawanan antara komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perilaku perundungan pada siswa SMP. This study aimed to determine the effect of interpersonal communication on bullying behavior. This study used survey method with correlation approach conducted in grade 8, SMP Negeri 13 Depok. This study uses Quantitative Research Methods. The population in this study were all students of grade 8 SMP Negeri 13 Depok. The sample used in this study as many as 179 people, but researchers only got 53 people who experience bullying behavior. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling is used where sampling by taking a sample of people selected by the author according to specific traits and characteristics (Djarwanto, 1998). characteristics referred to in this research that junior high school students of grade 8. The results of this study indicate that there are significant contrast between the Interpesonal Communicatiom and Bullying Behavior in junior high school students with a correlation coefficient of (-0.729) meaning an influential family viscosity by 53% against the behavior of Bullying. The conclusion of this study is Ho accepted the results of the t (-7.61) <t table (2.00) so that Ho is accepted, that there is the opposite effect of interpersonal communication on harassment behavior in junior high school students.
