Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Dasar Komunikasi. Dengan diterapkannya metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team ini, diharapkan dapat membantu proses pemahaman siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar sehingga secara otomatis memberi pengaruh pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, dimulai dari bulan Maret 2011 sampai dengan Mei 2011 dengan melalui 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas XAP-1 di SMK Negeri 1 Bogor pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Dasar Komunikasi. Dalam pelaksanaannya, penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan secara berulang dengan mengikuti tahapan siklus yang telah ditetapkan sehingga tercapainya tujuan dari metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team melalui penilaian kelompok dan individu. Indikator dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa setelah mengalami proses kegiatan belajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team telah memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Keberhasilan metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team dapat tercapai karena adanya kerjasama antara peneliti dan siswa. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan, hasil perolehan rata-rata kelas pada siklus pertama sebesar 73,5. Sedangkan pada siklus kedua, hasil belajar siswa sebesar 91,2 dari data tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar. Oleh sebab itu, penerapan metode pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Quiz Team diharapkan dapat diterapkan oleh para pendidik (selain mata pelajaran komunikasi) sebagai inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran sehingga dapat membantu proses kegiatan belajar siswa. The research rasionale is improving student studying outcomes through the application of Active Learning model Quiz Team in communication. Through this application of Active Learning model Quiz Team, students are expected to be more understand the learning process so that automatically influences the improvement of the studying outcome. This research has been completed using a classroom action research method which applied in three months ago. From Maret until Mei 2011, through two sequences. The subjects of this classroom action research are students of XAP-1 level on communication subject in SMK Negeri 1 Bogor. In the submission, this classroom action research has been performed repetitively using the sequence steps that have been set until the target of Active Learning model Quiz Team are fulfilled by group and individual assessment. An indicator of the assessment of student outcome improvement that student get after occurring learning activity process using Active Learning model Quiz Team. The result of this research states that the application of Active Learning model Quiz Team has giving positive influence to students learning outcome. The achievement of Active Learning model Quiz Team can be attained since there is cooperation between researcher and students. Based on data which has been acquired, average rate classroom result at the first step are around 73, 5. While at the second step, the average rate classroom result is about 91,2. From this data, we can see the improvement of student learning outcome. As a result of that the application of Active Learning model Quiz Team are to be attained by teacher (except communication subject teacher) as an innovation in learning models so that the can help the student learning activity process.
